你的問題我剛剛都發生呀, 我係用MTV3000的. 畫面HANG 咗, 但聲音正常, 向前向後畫面都不能回復正常, 一定要STOP再PLAY 先冇事. 另外當時錄緊兩台, 等錄完要CHECK下有冇影響錄影先!

呢個問題係4.01 BETA3 先發生的. 4.0 時代冇試過.
另外, 試咗幾個鐘, 暫時未HANG 機. (希望唔好HANG 啦!) |

hi Peter728, I didn't know there is a WUSB600N version 2! Our is bought last month in SSP. I search on the internet and found these images. Top is our WUSB600N, and bottom should be the Version 2. They looks totally different.
Anyway, we will try to support the Version 2 in next firmware update...

Both of my MTV3000 & MTV5000D were upgrade to 4.01beta3,
it couldn’t detect my Linksys WUSB600N(ver. 2), USB doesn’t light up &
is on your support list.

每按〈R〉一次便累加 X 小時錄影，而 X 可以是 半小時/一小時/二小時/三小時... ，而 X 可以在「錄影設定」中預設，以增加其彈性。
這是我的小小意見，相信這樣可以造福更多用家。 |

"一按即錄" 最好就剛剛錄到自己想錄既節目完, 就識自動停, 咁就最完美啦.....
預設 半小時/一小時/二小時... 根本就各有唔同須要, 有人會覺得半小時太小, 有人亦會覺二小時太小或多....所以預設幾耐都會有人覺得唔合適的, 根本冇一個準則呢.. |

剛買了MTV3100 (firmware: 3.08) ，請問為何「一按即錄」預設是三小時，而不是半小時？本地電視節目是以半小時為一製作單位，很多節目播放時間都是半個鐘或一個鐘。以往用過 Sony 和 Philips 的錄影機都是每按〈R〉一次便累加半小時錄影，操作十分簡易，但MTV卻要按鍵七次才可選至半小時錄影！
「七按即錄」才對！！ |

I have upgrade my MTV3000 to firmware 4.0. I saw on the new user manual that recording can be made in different folders in the harddisk. Is it possible on the MTV3000? I cannot find such function on my machine.

hi 中國加油, use DHCP on both Magic TV and wifi router. Do not set anything in Magic TV IP setting. When wifi connects, it should get a IP address.
You may need to do a factory reset and try again.

hi 中國加油, please try again! Sometimes it gives the error on first try, then works on second attempt. And make sure the wifi show a IP address in System Info.

Added: How to access (read/write) MTV3000 Formatted (EXT2 Format) USB harddrive in Windows PC? On the PC, please install a EXT2 driver for Windows, such as http://www.fs-driver.org/
Tomorrow (Friday), hopefully, We will try to release a firmware update for the MTV3000 with USB harddrive recording function, for user to have fun with recording over the weekend!  This firmware will have some software bugs and may not function 100% perfect. Please treat it as a "beta" release!  After we collect feedback from users, we will release a update version ASAP.
With the recording firmware, it can directly record to a FAT32 harddrive, or it can "format" a USB drive in EXT2 format up to 500G.
We suggest to use a USB harddrive with "auto Power On/Off" function. Some brand name USB harddrives we tested support the auto On/Off function, such as the Buffalo DriveStation, WD (Western Digital) My Book series, and Seagate FreeAgent series. If the USB harddrive support auto On/Off, then the USB harddrive should auto trun off when the MTV3000 finished recording and auto standby, and auto power on when the MTV3000 auto wake up when recording starts.
Generally we recommand a 3.5" USB harddrive with standalone power supply to use on the MTV3000. We also tested a few 2.5" USB harddrive size from 80G to 320G. Those 2.5" USB harddrives also work with the MTV3000 recording, with a "1 USB (harddrive) to 2 USB (MTV3000) cable" for the MTV3000 to supply enough power to the 2.5" USB harddrive. But we can NOT make sure all 2.5" harddrive can work on the MTV3000.
