請問係recorded programmes入面，option果欄not repeat groups係什麼東面呢 ?...

Me too, can't upgrade from 2.01 to 2.01beta2, need rescure 2.0 and up to 2.01beta2
All features are perfect;
1. FF 32x 64x added
2. Video playlist show Chinese programme name
3. Press 1 to 9 directly skip 1 to 9 minutes
4. View channel A during recording B where A and B must be same channel freq.

Thank you very much, its my fault I didn't check there is an option in the main menu. Because I viewed the "Release Notes" and I can't find this wonderful changes. This function is really great to me. thank you for your great effort.
By the way, will you consider to add this good function into MTV5000 too.....as I got both. |

While playing the recorded programme press 1 it will jump 1 minutes 2 then 2 minutes ...etc.

I had an experience that my USB disk was problematic.
The file content written on the USB disk is not equal to the original file.
and thus cause upgrade failure on MTV3000...
I found that when I put back the USB disk to desktop and use comparison tool to compare to the original files. |

loser hing, if you follow all the instruction but it still show "Stage2 not found", then please try to RESUCE using the old 1.06 firmware. If ok, then update to the latest beta firmware.

loser hing, in RESUCE mode, it needs ALL the 3 files from the firmware zip file, and put the 3 files in the USB thumbdrive Root folder, do NOT put the frmware files in any folder, the try the rescue again.

- Try using a different USB thumbdrive (if possible, since faulty USB thumbdrive are known to cause upgrade failures)
- Format it as FAT32
- Place the unzipped files from the firmware zip package to the root directory
- Try the other USB port from the Magic TV |

Added: How to access (read/write) MTV3000 Formatted (EXT2 Format) USB harddrive in Windows PC? On the PC, please install a EXT2 driver for Windows, such as http://www.fs-driver.org/
Tomorrow (Friday), hopefully, We will try to release a firmware update for the MTV3000 with USB harddrive recording function, for user to have fun with recording over the weekend!  This firmware will have some software bugs and may not function 100% perfect. Please treat it as a "beta" release! After we collect feedback from users, we will release a update version ASAP.
With the recording firmware, it can directly record to a FAT32 harddrive, or it can "format" a USB drive in EXT2 format up to 500G.
We suggest to use a USB harddrive with "auto Power On/Off" function. Some brand name USB harddrives we tested support the auto On/Off function, such as the Buffalo DriveStation, WD (Western Digital) My Book series, and Seagate FreeAgent series. If the USB harddrive support auto On/Off, then the USB harddrive should auto trun off when the MTV3000 finished recording and auto standby, and auto power on when the MTV3000 auto wake up when recording starts.
Generally we recommand a 3.5" USB harddrive with standalone power supply to use on the MTV3000. We also tested a few 2.5" USB harddrive size from 80G to 320G. Those 2.5" USB harddrives also work with the MTV3000 recording, with a "1 USB (harddrive) to 2 USB (MTV3000) cable" for the MTV3000 to supply enough power to the 2.5" USB harddrive. But we can NOT make sure all 2.5" harddrive can work on the MTV3000.
