MTV3000，用梗5.05 beta 2，我發現如果兩個"系列錄影"是同時進行的話，可能會導致hang 機＋部份節目錄唔到，可能係系列錄影的bug (??)

例如剛才的：
[系列錄影] 11本港台： 9:35PM-10:25PM 書劍恩仇錄 (粵、國語廣播) (CS)
[系列錄影] 84明珠台： 10:00PM-10:30PM 摩登家庭 Modern Family
[LIVE即時收看] 81翡翠台： 9:30PM-10:30PM 刑警(澳門鉅記餅家特約) 及 物業貸款至快趣(康業信貸快遞)

當時係用MTV3000live收看 81翡翠台 刑警，睇睇下發現冇中文字幕，想㩒DOWN去揀字幕，但無論remote㩒乜野制都冇反應（e.g. UP,DOWN,CH+,CH-, info, live,menu），畫面lock住81台無法轉台，(但仍然可以繼續觀看81台，只係出唔到字幕)
reboot之後發現只錄左 11本港台： 9:35PM 書劍恩仇錄 (粵、國語廣播) (CS)的頭25分鐘，而Modern Family 就完全錄唔到.
預設所有節目自動延長5分鐘錄影.remote 肯定有電 
24/7用LAN綫連接internet

補充 : 岩岩試過off左WEP, 即係唔洗入password, 咁就可以連到線..... 
請問,我個router有冇咩setting要配合返部3200D ????

不過用1080i 60hz, 1080p 60hz, 用30秒怏過 或快回8秒 有時會PAUSE 畫面, 要stop 再play 或按FF or FR 先正常反, 用咁耐(2.0x~5.0x) 都仲係咁 未解決。 |

Touch wood, 我用mtv5000d 加原裝牛 5.02, 5.03, 5.04 咁耐都仲未hang 過機 |

上星期買左3200D, 因為屋企擺設問題沒法拉LAN線駁3200D, 所以去買左隻USB wifi 手指 Buffalo WLI-UC-G300N-V1.
但試過好多次,都只係detect到個router,但入password後,等左陣就顯示'沒有連線'
試過只插wifi手指(先拔走hard disk), 又試過熄晒接駁wifi既野,例如iphone同notebook, 都係連接唔到....
今日打去TS, 竟然如其他ching所講, 冇比任何建議比我試就叫我帶部機去科技園.... 大佬,我住屯門呀... 
請問有咩我可以試??? 唔該晒~~~  |

I use V5.04 and the screen will flash suddenly. I use V4.01 beta 5 and it is fine.

但我上星期六買了MTV3200D，亦同樣用WD 1T HDD (型號:WD10EARS綠色環保型號) 連接祼族冷凍台錄影後重播依然有綠色格仔，但睇LIVE TV係冇格。
打電話問過WD香港代理建達國際技術支援技師，佢回覆係綠色環保型號同MTV錄影格式唔兼容，WD10EARS是採用“先進格式化”（Advanced Format）的新版GreenPower硬碟，係電腦用WIN XP需要安裝WD Align軟件解決問題。
至於機頂盒方面睇黎要靠你地推出新Firmware改善問題啦。 |

Please try playback a recording program to test. Start a recording, while it's recording, go to recorded program list, find the current recording program (usually at the top), and play it while it's recording. If the playback has image artifact, stop the playback and watch some live TV, then play the recording and watch the same segment and check if any artifact.
Also, you may try another USB cable. If your USB cable is longer than 6', try a shorter USB cable.
On MTV3000/3100/3500/3600/5000, in rare case while CPU loading is very very high, there may be recording corruption, for example:
- using USB wi-fi, and
- recording 2 channels (especially HD channel 12 and 85), and
- playback a recorded program, and
- fast forward/backward or rapidly jumping around in playback
The above operation when doing at the same time, it will make the system very very busy, and the recording may drop data and cause playback problem later.
On MTV3200/3700, since the new 8655 CPU is much faster, there should not be any recording corruption even doing multiple tasks.

我舊WD 640G HDD錄滿左，近日買左個WD 1T HDD(型號:WD10EARS綠色環保型號)但用MTV3000格式化新HDD後錄影後重播片段有綠色格仔，而且播放時窒下窒下。但我睇LIVE時係一切正常冇格。
我以為係個別HDD有問題，於是去零售商更換另一個同型號:WD10EARS HDD回家再試，都係用MTV3000格式化HDD，但錄影後片段重播時依然有綠色格仔，但睇LIVE TV係冇格。
我懷疑係WD 1T HDD(型號:WD10EARS)有問題，因為以前用WD 640G HDD係冇事。
定係升級左 Firmware 5_05beta2 至出事呢?
順帶一提，我係用祼族站立台USB連接MTV3000

For MTV3200D/3700D:
- improve antenna reception sensitivity, if you have poor signal quality on MTV3200D/MTV3700D, please update to this beta firmware and do a channel scan, reception may improve.
For all Magic TV:
- enable Remote Recording update in Standby (Fast Startup mode on MTV3200D/3700D) using USB Wifi. This function is OFF by default. To use it, please go to Settings->System->Advanced Settings->Remote Scheduling Setting->WiFi During Standby->On.
*when this settings is ON, and USB Wifi is connected, USB power is still on in standby, in order to keep the USB Wifi connection, if there is USB HDD connected, the USB HDD may not be automatically spin-down or power-off during Magic TV standby.
There are other minor bug fix and system improvement...

As usual, beta firmware may have unknown issue so use it at your own risk.

Added: How to access (read/write) MTV3000 Formatted (EXT2 Format) USB harddrive in Windows PC? On the PC, please install a EXT2 driver for Windows, such as http://www.fs-driver.org/
Tomorrow (Friday), hopefully, We will try to release a firmware update for the MTV3000 with USB harddrive recording function, for user to have fun with recording over the weekend!  This firmware will have some software bugs and may not function 100% perfect. Please treat it as a "beta" release! After we collect feedback from users, we will release a update version ASAP.
With the recording firmware, it can directly record to a FAT32 harddrive, or it can "format" a USB drive in EXT2 format up to 500G.
We suggest to use a USB harddrive with "auto Power On/Off" function. Some brand name USB harddrives we tested support the auto On/Off function, such as the Buffalo DriveStation, WD (Western Digital) My Book series, and Seagate FreeAgent series. If the USB harddrive support auto On/Off, then the USB harddrive should auto trun off when the MTV3000 finished recording and auto standby, and auto power on when the MTV3000 auto wake up when recording starts.
Generally we recommand a 3.5" USB harddrive with standalone power supply to use on the MTV3000. We also tested a few 2.5" USB harddrive size from 80G to 320G. Those 2.5" USB harddrives also work with the MTV3000 recording, with a "1 USB (harddrive) to 2 USB (MTV3000) cable" for the MTV3000 to supply enough power to the 2.5" USB harddrive. But we can NOT make sure all 2.5" harddrive can work on the MTV3000.
