- 請問點樣可以將以前在 hard disk 裡面既 錄影檔案 轉過去 MTV-5000 internal hard disk 度 ??
- 只 mobile hard disk 插左去 MTV-5000 度已經 detect 度

因為近日的新款 三叔電視 又平又靚, 我已經買左, 由於佢係內置TV, 所以MTV5000D已經正式變為一部 高清錄影機, 因為係咁, 佢自己進入SLEEP MODE的時間已經無需三小時咁長, 請問可否在下一個新FIRMWARE中加入 "一小時" 便會自動進入SLEEP MODE呢?

現時已錄製節目於分類後，節目仍然會在「所有節目」中見到，當錄製有一定節目數量時會令到「所有節目」目錄內非常混亂，已經觀看及想保存的節目與並未觀看的同名稱節目混雜一起，令使用者難以分辨，而錄製之節目亦不能更改名稱，觀看後該節目名亦不能造上記號，新版Firmware能否更改為用戶可將已觀看及想保存的節目自定轉移至一些目錄中，並從「所有節目」中刪除該節目？ |

我個部 MTV5000D 既系統硬碟（內置硬碟）出現問題，
我用新 firmware 既檢查及修復，
做左之後個硬碟就正常番，
但係部機版面既顯示硬碟容量就唔運作（只顯示硬碟未有任何錄影） ，
不知是不是 firmware 既 bug |

I have upgraded to 3.01 and then 3.04. after the upgrade, my ext hard disc does not go into sleep mode any more but it was working perfectly with firmware 2.X. can you help? |

Thanks Li On. Code 5 works on my MTV remote but when I pressed the input select button (learning button in the middle), the input name was shown at the corner of the screen but it didn't change to the next input source. |

s1dragon and p98 hing, besides MagicTV recorded program, there is no guarantee that video clips from other source or converted by user can play correctly on the MagicTV. Likewise, we also can not guarantee other playback device such as PS3 (or PC) can properly playback MagicTV recorded program. Please remember the MagicTV is a DTV receiver and recorder. It's not a play-it-all generic media player.

Hi gura, if you bough the MagicTV recently (1-2 months) then the remote should have preset code 5 for Pioneer TV. Or you can try learning the TV on/off, volume +/- using other Pioneer such as DVD-Recorder remote which also has the Pioneer TV control button. You can also come to our service center and we will help you to learn the remote.

Hi Lion,
部 MTV-5000D 播片時, 用 ׀◄ (回放8秒) 制, 連續按幾次後, 有時會畫面定鏡, 聲音會播一陣, 之後冇聲又定鏡,
要按stop 再play 就正常反, 連續按回放制(每次連續按2~5吓不等), 大約10次會有七八次有上述情況
此情況由我買反嚟冇耐已經了發覺, 我由 2.01 update 到而家 2.04 都有此問題, 係咪只有我部機係咁? 因為都唔覺有人report |

最近有一件不明白的事, 不知與什麼有關.
事情是: 上週我幫朋友用MTV5000D(2.04版)錄了 "老婆大人" 大結局, 原先只想COPY這集到手指給朋友在PS3上播放, 但後來好心剪了廣告, 結果朋友的PS3播不到, 我便再將未剪的版本給再COPY給朋友, 結果可以播放.
事關我記得約半年前都試過剪片給朋友用PS3播, 但是成功的, 不只一次, 幾次都可以的.
但是現在的 2.04版本便不能, 請問是軟件出了問題, 還是那一樣東西出了問題呢? 謝謝大大的回應. |

I have two MTV3000 units. One is 3.01 while the other one is 3.04. I have come across two problems and hope that you could help.
1. I have remuxed some video clips which were recorded by Olevia stb and put them in the HDD. They work 100% normally when being played back in MTV3000. However, when I stop playing the video and return to live TV mode, sometimes the audio is gone missing (the picture is normal). Sometimes, the audio is back if I stop playing recorded video again. Sometimes, the audio is kept missing until I reboot the MTV. (the audio ouput of HDMI is set to ON)
2. I found that a HDD formatted by 3.04 cannot be read properly in win xp ( it pops up a message of unformatted drive ) while the same HDD formatted by 3.01 can be read or written normally.
Could you advise how to solve the problems?

Li On 兄，我是用 MTV 5000 的，但發覺在無線新聞台的 News Bar MTV表示按黃色進入的，當然入不到，因為這個按制是負責 audio 的？但在無線高清台， MTV就會告訴我按紅色的制進入 TVB 的 News Bar.
，但可以進入，請問題是什麼問題？ |

edmondDVD hing, if the HDD works fine with the MagicTV, then maybe there is some problem with the EXT2 driver on the Windows PC. If you have a small USB thumbdrive, please try format it on the MagicTV (in EXT2), then connect to PC to make sure the PC can read EXT2 format. You may also try reinstall the EXT2 driver, or even use other EXT2 driver. Search on google with EXT2 windows driver for other option.

Some tips for transfering VOB, MP2 or MP4 file to ts, m2ts file.
If you want to have subtitile, either English or Chinese, first use HandBrake to convert the vob/mp2 file to MP4 file. You can select and maintain the 5.1 audio signal and either Chinese or English subtitle during this process.
Later use XviD4PSP 5.0 to convert the MP4 file to ts or m2ts file, using copy for both audio and vidoe encoding. The completed file size for a normal DVD movie is about 1 ~ 1.5G. The process takes about 1 to 2 hours depending on the CPU. The quality is very good, almost lossless.
If there is no need to maintain the subtitle, just use XviD4PSP 5.0 can do.
If any friends come across other less complicated method, please advise. |

Added: How to access (read/write) MTV3000 Formatted (EXT2 Format) USB harddrive in Windows PC? On the PC, please install a EXT2 driver for Windows, such as http://www.fs-driver.org/
Tomorrow (Friday), hopefully, We will try to release a firmware update for the MTV3000 with USB harddrive recording function, for user to have fun with recording over the weekend!  This firmware will have some software bugs and may not function 100% perfect. Please treat it as a "beta" release!  After we collect feedback from users, we will release a update version ASAP. 
With the recording firmware, it can directly record to a FAT32 harddrive, or it can "format" a USB drive in EXT2 format up to 500G.
We suggest to use a USB harddrive with "auto Power On/Off" function. Some brand name USB harddrives we tested support the auto On/Off function, such as the Buffalo DriveStation, WD (Western Digital) My Book series, and Seagate FreeAgent series. If the USB harddrive support auto On/Off, then the USB harddrive should auto trun off when the MTV3000 finished recording and auto standby, and auto power on when the MTV3000 auto wake up when recording starts.
Generally we recommand a 3.5" USB harddrive with standalone power supply to use on the MTV3000. We also tested a few 2.5" USB harddrive size from 80G to 320G. Those 2.5" USB harddrives also work with the MTV3000 recording, with a "1 USB (harddrive) to 2 USB (MTV3000) cable" for the MTV3000 to supply enough power to the 2.5" USB harddrive. But we can NOT make sure all 2.5" harddrive can work on the MTV3000.
