Glee, I do not know your full setup. If you see the improvement, go with
the more expensive one. Hey, you are happy with it. That's all that
matter, right? On a separate note, one of the member, CKL, has test
various long DVI cable using measuring instrutment. The more
expensive cable does not out-perform the cheaper one. |

I only use the Hdmi cable to connect to the pioneer plasma so 2M is
good enough.
According to my understanding, both cables are silver plated (around 5
to 6%). Perviously, I am using the pioneer 969 and use the OEM hdmi
cable accompanied with the dvd player. Then I bought the monster 400
series hdmi cable which has a siginificant improvement. I consider that
the better cable will improve the video quality even I don't use it for the
projector.
I appreciate for some meaningful sharing of experience.

How long do you need? If you need 5M or less. I think you can save the
money and buy some cheap cable. Monster or Audioquest are still
copper cable and has its limitation. For extra long (10M up), the only
proven cable is fiber optic which cost a lot more $$$$. |

I am planning to buy either the Monster M1000 Hdmi cable or the Audioquest 3 Hdmi cable. Both of them are top of the line within their brand. I used the Monster 400 series previously and find that the performance is good. My friend commented that the Monster cable has the better experience in the design of shielding of the digital cable so it should be better?
Please share your experience??
