I've found that 80" screen is easier for me to plan.
Do you know any new DLP projector which has lens shifts and DVI
input, but under 20k.

6800 is not brighter than 4805. I think 4805 is slightly brighter. I've
watched 6800 long time ago. Its colour is a bit messy. BenQ should
have new firmware. I don't know the update situation of 6800 now. |

Now the price difference between benq6800 and infocus4805 was very small. I would like to ask high hand for some opinion.
I'm quite satisfied with the picture quality of both projectors (although not A/B comparison)
My new house has one disadvantag, from floor to ceiling: 90 inches only.
Planned to project 90" screen. Width of front wall about 8 fts.
Speakers for CD was placed besides the screen, therefore AV front speakers are needed to be placed below the screen.
Benq 6800:
1. 576 DLP and brighter
2. but higher offset ratio. In my new house, the space between the bottom line of screen and floor will become 26 inches only. So that it will limit the choice on AV front speakers which are required to be placed on TV rack below the screen. Also worried the screen may be too low.
Infocus 4805:
1. more spacious below the screen as low offset ratio; more choice on AV front speakers (4 inches more)
2. but dimmer and 480P DLP
