Yes, I did see it at BMW showroom in Germany. The new BMW M5 is
really nice but ..........

I believe Peter So should have ordered one in the shop a month ago.

Peter So: "my BMW is at the shop, near a month already ... "

Just arrived at London from Germany to continue my business trip in UK.

This afternoon has a chance to visit a DVD shop. The Region 2 Pal DVD
is more expensive here than Germany. Same title, Germany cost Euro
8.99 = HK$90, here London UK Pound 8.99 = HK$126 !!!

The new Star War set cost UK Pound 34 = HK$476 (i.e. more expensive
than HK).

However, tomorrow I will drive from London to Oxford then to
Northampton. If I have time, I will visit and report back. Until now, I have not visited any HiVi equipment shops here. May be they are not popular and difficult to find (not like HK which are grouped in several famous districts).

I took the photos of this 'artist' in two different days. The first day, he
stood still and/or moved in a professional motions / actions. Yesterday,
I passed by again to purchase DVD, he took a break and smoking.
Therefore, I took out my camera a got this snapshot without thinking of
having a short movie clips!!!!

OK, I take you point and I will check the price when I purchase the AV
equipment together.

This morning, I will go back to the DVD shop to have a final search
before leaving for a meeting in the afternoon (I need to work on
Sunday!!!).

See you in HK in about a week's time.

RomRom Hing, it's good news. Do you know any brother also prepare
to buy Marantz DV9500 like me? I will highly likely to purchase both of
them together in addition to the M&K MX-350 THX subwoofer when I
return to HK by end of this month.

Finally, all digital cameras are much more expensive than HK due to
heavy tax.

I do not know the updated HK price, here are some pictures for AVBuzz

need not to worry about the quality of R2 dvd disks, most of the times
they are better than their R1/R3 cousins, their colors are usually
right on as they do not need to care on the "hue" issue (ntsc = never
the same color

), and the resolution is a bit higher.

my BMW is at the shop, near a month already ...

The shop 'Muller' is quite big. It offer services to all customers to listen
any CD before you buy, just take it to the counter and some staff from
the shop will help you to place the CD into a CDP.

Besides, there are many Vinyl software here !!! However, I do not play
this vinyl but I understand many AVBuzz brothers do like them.

After visiting the CD/DVD shop here (much bigger than HMV in HK), I
briefly selected several DVDs. All are Region 2 Pal Version with DD 5.1
English Audio and English Sub-title.

As Peter So Hing has not replied to me (in English) whether or not
Region 2 Pal DVD is good or bad, I still take the risk to purchase them.
The price here may be more expensive than HK !!!

I will try to search for these famous HiFi equipment. However, this town
is famous for good looking churchs and museums. Therefore, I do not
whether I have luck on locating them. Any way, today I have no work
to do and will walk around the entire old city to search for treasure.

Please call me after 26 Oct and I will be in HK then. We can discuss the
purchase of DLP projector with other AVBuzz friends.

Hey, Peter Hing: I cannot read your Chinese Character as I am using the
computer of the hotel. It has not been installed to read or decode
Chinese. Would you please using English instead on your advice on
possible purchase of the DVD here.

Wilson Hing: you are more than welcome and glad you like my poor
quality pictures.

I show you a poor quality picture at Mozart' home where I had dinner at
a resturant nearby at Salzburg of Austria (just across the river of
Burghausen of Germany).
