my personal opinion only...
Cliff Hanger - I will wait for the coming Region 1 or Region 2 Superbit
edition.
A View to a Kill (007) - hmm... Don't know!
The Fugitive (by Harrison Ford) - A very good movie... Try the Japanese
DTS edition.
Silence of the Lamb - I have the original Region 1 Special Edition. Not a
bad transfer for a 198x movie. But I heard there will be a Japanese
Utlimate Edition being released in November. Will have to wait for
comparsion...
Ice Age - Sorry! I hardly watch any cartoon movies!
Monster Inc. - I like this movie especially "毛毛", but don;t know which
release is better...
Toy Story 1 & 2 - same as above...
Armegedon - Depending on your choice... If you want amazing audio
(with 1509 kbps) effect, then go for the "out of print" Japanese DTS
Edition. But it is expensive, I think it was selling at about HK$3xx in 2nd
hand market. Also please be reminded that this Japanese Editon is a
non-anamorphic transfer. If you wants good picture quality, then UK or
French 2-disc sets have anamorphic transfers.

few more classic in mind but don't know which version is better. Can I
have your comment on them?

Of course, I realized that the picture quality of French Region 2 PAL DVD
