4805係852x480, 基本上睇DVD(480I/P)唔加任何SCALER都已經唔大問題, 而且
重係DLP, 暗位表現幾好, 重可以入DVI(不過要用M1 CABLE), 最大問題重係
rainbow effect
AE700係720P, 用SCALER, HD同有720P輸出DVD機先可以發揮最高威力, 但我最
欣賞都係機前嗰枝 LEN SHIFT 控制杆(校好一拎就lock住)同超彈性投影距離,
如果想試720p毒性有幾大就ae700, 對rainbow effect有免疫力就可以試吓

I have been seeing the performance of 4805 as well as waiting for
the lauching of AE700 for the past two months.
Until now, I don't know which one should I take.
Anyone can help ? |

OS 90inch white matt need to be orders. It may take 2 weeks. A
friend order one at $3xxx.
For room without lighting control, gray or high gain screen is
better. |

So 4805 is my final choice and I need to buy an OS White matt screen
which is not easy to find.
CKL hing,
I am worried that I may not be able to make a good light controlled
environment because my boss control the choice of curtain. 
Will you still suggest White matt or pure matt?  |

90inch at 14ft viewing distance, it is around 2.15X
At such distance, it is hard to see the screen door.
4805 is not very bright. For 90inch screen, it needs at least 1.0
gain white matt. Don't use lower gain screen. |

I've already planned to buy 4805 but it seems that AE700 is a wonderful projector from review on internet (projectorcentral). Could some brother give me some opinion ?
Some background information:
project to 90" screen, viewing distance around 14ft.
Lens shift is not necessary. Seldom see rainbow effect on 4805.
Mainly for DVD movie, sometimes sports TV.
My chief concern is the image quality like color saturation, brightness/contrast, pixelation, vertical banding, something like that.
