If there is overscan or underscan, it can't be 1:1 mapping. You can
use AVIA or DVE to the issue of overscan. Even there is no overscan
nor underscan, it doesn't mean you can get pixel perfect. There is
no 720P testing pattern in the DVD player. We assume it is pixel
perfect if there is no overscan nor underscan. Actually most of
720P projector or DVD player using the HDTV standard of H45kHz and
V60Hz. Of course, the exactly timing may be slightly different.
But you don't need to worry too much. Most of time it can fit
properly. |
