KEF REFERENCE = difficult = nice source and materials inside and out.....but very difficult to get balance....used tube amp....very sweet...but fatty bass....used SS amp...fast but harsh...bi amp(tube for hi fre....ss for Low fre).... need to balance 'gain'....and expensive...!!!
DB101....cheap but funny speaker....sound like PA speaker...can handle vry high power amplifer....can be nice sounding speaker if matched with right amp and ...very careful positioning!
