Very difficult to say the encoding time as it also very much depend
on how fast your PC and what options you choose in DVDShrink.
Let's say around 60 +/- 30 mins, excluding DVD burning. |

Use DVDShrink, and it's Free.

Macrovision is for analogue output. I guess you mean CSS encryption.
DVDShrink will remove the encryption, re-code the files to fit into
DVD-5. You need Nero to burn the files into DVD-R. AFAIK, no
direct DVD disk copy is possible (for those with encryption). |

Thank you for the advice. Can I ask which software is good for
copying movies and compressed into one DVD 5 disc? Also how long
does it take to decode and rip a 2 hour movie and burn them into DVD
with 8x?
Oh also, does DVD rom comes with Macrovision OFF option so I can
write directly to DVD-R with Nero Ahead? |
