For 100inch screen, D2010 is better because its lower lamp mode is
much brighter than Z12000's high contrast mode. |

Z12k has a rather long throw distance. For example, if you want to
project a 100" screen, the screen can be up to 18' from the lens.
Account for also the space behind the screen and the projector, and
the depth of projector itself. The wall-to-wall distance can be
around 20'. Is your living room deeper than this? 
Btw, be reminded that the lens-shift of Z12k does not shift too much.
The top of the projected image cannot be lower than the horizontal
level of the centre of the lens. Thus, it is almost impossible to
hang the projector at the middle of your living room. |

Don't know who has a good method to solve the problem as I have a
dinning area behind the sofa which is about 12 feets to the wall.
I am afraid that the projector will be installed in the middle of the
living room, with a long ceiling pole from the ceiling, down just
above my head (ceiling height is about 9feets)....any suggestion is
highly appreciated!!!!

firehawk, greyhawk, studiotek 都係一樣價錢.
我部 projector 放响 av room, mount 响張 sofa 上面, 因為坐低所以一定唔
會撞頭.
如果你唔介意比多Ｄ  , 你可以装個電動架比個 projector,
用時至放落泥, 進口貨就貴 D, 要 3xk, 大6 嘢就平好多 
fix screen 可以用 power window blind to hide it from view

我自己較喜歡 firehawk  , 配 12000, 兩隻都有人用 |

installation 呢 D 嘢好難講, 如果係 isf calib. 又唔同價, 如果泥六、七
次就一定唔貴, 不過通常 digital projector 好 stable, 唔需要 calib. 咁多
次, (CRT projector 就要 半年 service 一次) 一次至兩次就夠 la |

Hello Peter,
The shop charges me $2,800 for installion of the projector, they will
have 6~7 time home visit to ensure correct installion. Will guarantee
everything perfect!!
Do you think price is expensive??
