HDMI DVD players like Pioneer969, DenonA11, OnkyoSP1000 all
says "DVD(Video/Audio)". Does that mean DVD Audio hence HDMI 1.1? |

HDMI1.2 is still under discussion. So at thie moment, there is no
HDMI1.2 player.
If your DVD player supports DVD-AUDIO, mainly it will supports
HDMI1.1.
But the HDMI 1.1 transmitter only available at Q1 this year, so I'm
sure there is no OLD DVD player that supports HDMI1.1.
At last, there is HDMI 1.0 DVD player only. |

In a short word, HDMI=DVI+digital audio.
A little bit more:
HDMI1.0=DVI1.0+SPDIF or LPCM
HDMI1.1=HDMI1.0+DVD audio support
HDMI1.2=HDMI1.1+SACD support |
