I don't think it is worth to add ND for most home theater
projector. ND cut 50% of brightness without correcting the colour
balance. It is only suitable for 1500 lumen DILA projector. If you
want to improve the colour and black level. I recommend glass CCR20
filter. It cut around 25% of brightness and push 20% of red. The
red is not enough from most of lamp using digital projectors. But
glass CCR20 filter needs special order from the foreign company. It
costs over HK$1000. |
