Yes, in game mode the contrast is unbelievingly low. But again this
is what I prefer as long as there is no permenant residual image
left on my 434. Sigh. 
Btw, anyone using 969 in HDMI mode with 434? The colour is
incredible. |

manuel should have margin on same.....
do you notice game mode is not as bright as other mode.

per the manuel, they suggest you to play pc or game in game mode and
not more than 2 hours. after whc, you should view normal program in
wide or full mode for double timing

I figure 434 is more sensitive than other plasma as each plasma cell
is deeper. Actually I recommended my friend to buy Hitachi even
though I still 434 has the best colour satuation.
Service mode is activated by using the remote. Please call Pioneer.
Alternatively I use Nokia Monitor Testing tool to fill the screen
with bright white colour for a prolonged period of time.
Yes, I agree we should all write Star to ask them to change their
logo to transparent mode. |

I use the movie mode to watch Star Movie Channel on Now TV as only
small part of the logo will show up. also noticed the blue logo of
Star movie channel just after bought my 434 (luckily don't hv burn
mark - touch wood). have written msg to Now TV stating this problem
and suggest them to change it to transparent logo like tvb or
atv.....as usual they regret the situation and said will reflect
this problem to Star channel. suggest all brother write letter to
Now tv on this and putting them on pressure to change.

I am also an owner of 434. Is it really sensitive for the 434 to
burn for playing tvgames?
Before reading this message, I almost connect my Nintendo Gamecube
to the 434. I am afraid to take this risk. Is it really a forbidding
to play tvgames on 434? |

I played Winning Eleven for ~30mins and the residual image of the football field radar on the panel could not be erased even in service mode. Same happened to the Star TV Movie channel logo on Now TV.
Any 434 owners have the same experience?
