Just buy a VGA box is OK, connect the S-video from satellite to the
VGA box then to the LCD monitor.
Something like this...

(This one may not support LCD mon)
Find one on your side which support LCD mon la....
Just few hundred $ in HK but don't know how much in Jp la!!
PS. Some with build in tuner for watching TV ka

Hope guys here can help me out on a question re how to connect video from my Japanese satellite dish
I live in Tokyo. I am getting a satellite dish. I want to connect it to a LCD monitor which I use for PC.
The LCD mon accepts DVI-D and the normal PC type connection
The satellite output is S-video, composite video. also has i-Link but not sure how to use/what it is for...
