You can use software DVD player + ffdshow + Zoomplayer ka ma.

But the learning curve is deep and be prepared to suffer
frustrations..

Unless you have a Holo3D card, you can’t use ffdshow plugins with X-
cards (480i).

Dscaler is only a software deinterlacer (480i to 480p).with some
video tunning features. It does not have any function to pump up a
480i signal to 1080p one.

With ffdshow, you can supersample the progressive 480p signal to
1080p signal with the inbuilt resize function (extremely CPU hungry)
or thro’ external plugins like AVISynth 2.0 (Much higher
performance).

After pumping up, the 1080p can be further processed with other
Sharpener + Noise Reduction Filters.

The final 1080p signal can then be delivered to the video card and
downscale back to native resolution via PowerStrip (720 x 480, 1280
x 720 or whatever so).
