lucky enough not to mislead u! i didn't notice there's no dts logo
before i reply u. that means dts i got is real? (i use coaxial) seems
a stupid question but i got 901 only together with DVDR75. no
experience on DTS.
One more question, if i only have 5.1 speaker connected, the amp will
not show DTS ES, right? |

我曾經睇8蚊書話加個dts logo 係部機樹會增加成本, 但唔知係唔係....
你可以係個remote度select 架, 唔select 兩個logo都會著... 好似係
咁 "system" --> "audio"

all the DVD recorder or HDD DVD recorder's picture quality ( all
brands)cannot compared with many DVD player except the cheapest
model, it is the fact. So, I had one DVD recorder for copying or TV
tuner purpose eg.dulpicate the LD, DV cam, recording TV programme
etc. My Sony one for DVD movie. The high quality DVD recorder ( blue-
ray or HD-DVD) only appear in unknown future in HK |

my one is region 3 and can play region 1 disc 
However, the dvd video quality is poor than my previous skyworth
1050d, hope it will be better after run in..
sound quality is ok, cos it is rely on my av amp's performance
For tv on projector, quality is acceptable .. may be my cable is not
good and havent run in , need buy better one and try |

it seems not 'all zone' - it said plays only zone 3 & all zone movie.
check if u watched zone 1 mainly.
i brought it 2 days before, not much to pay attention - remember to
get the gift set with 20 DVD+RW inside. no need to buy blank disc yet. |

have DTS, but not decoder, need a DTS Amp.
Dear JYY, i made a mistake.
old DVD > DVD input (component) and VCR > video 2 input (composite)
DVDR75 > video 1 input (component)
I want to record from both source (but without enough output), so i
need to use 901 as the switch. I tried both video1 & 2 output and so
with both S video and composite, still no signal.
may be i'll set 走鬼線 if i can't fix the problem.
donno if the setting of 901 a mistake. |

DAC did not mention, can not be found in any web site or
specification of the manual, compared with my Sony 9000es(54mHz,12
bit) a little difference in picture quality.
on my personal opinion, DVDR75 good in:
-DVD+RW/R format,can play in most DVD player, but not all, my sony
9000es is OK, but Awai 370 cannot be play.
- NTSC/Pal progressive with DCDi- very useful in projector(
progressive scan better than my Sony)
- component in recording( may be better quality in copying)
- TV tuner not bad, I used LCD monitor
- 1 hour recording is excellent, but over 2 hours, just so so
- av audio in (white & red) recording will convert to DD 2.0
- consumer service may be reliable
- outlook of the recorder quite acceptable.

i had connection prblem with my DVDR75, hope u or other brothers help
me!
I use Onkyo 901 as the AV centre
VCR > video 2 input (composite)
old DVD > video 1 input (component)
then use video 1 out > ext2 DVDR75
show 'no signal'. I use composite cable for connection as 901 said i
can only comp in & comp out
what should I do? |

my Philips DVDR75 was very good in function till now from the end of
last year, most of the fans here was complainted the old model 890
only, no complaint was seen on the R75 in this moment, It is not the
best one but enough for general use, the HD one at least more than
$7000. |

Panasonic 用DVD-Ram 及 -R(RAM 做EDIT方便但相容性最低)
Pioneer 用 -RW 及 -R(-RW相容性較+RW低, 大部份機都讀到, 最煩要用十幾分
鐘FINALIZE先用得)
Philips 用 +RW 及 +R(FINALIZE最快, 相容性又好)
不過PHILIPS啲機嘅穩定性就  , 好多大佬都成日要師父家訪就知啦 
不如加多少少買有HD嘅MODEL, 平時錄落機度, EDIT容易, 又可以要先燒出嚟,
重方便 |

眼見而家買963sa 好似太遲, 而佢又有新player 好似十port hdmi, 好似等下好d
但我而家將部dvd 雞俾左我啊哥 (諗住可以有籍口upgrade), 搞到我屋企冇機可睇....
前兩day去 mk 見到philip既DVD裂確達既price大概4k幾, 見佢又有dcdi, 心諗可唔可以食住佢先?? 因為屋企有projector, 買佢可以當turner睇波
你地話點呢?
1. 買DVD裂確達當dvd雞用住先, 遲下先打算upgrade 部雞
2. 買963sa
3. 等.... 冇dvd 睇
