I auditioned this model last week and sound quiet good!
Could you share your experience on Obession II?

Most people with Naim are poisoned by CD5. But frankly I know no one
who is using CD5i now or have auditioned it. From the discussion of
the Naim forum, the difference is quite substantial, but it is better
for you to arrange for an audition. The sales in Radar are nice and
all you need to do is to call in and arrange. |

Yes, and CD5i use a lot of surface mount technology that makes it
possible for Naim to outsource the manufacturation later as well. |

CD5i is a new product that can't connect to any cap(external power
supply), but with traditional RCA connector for non-naim amps, If I
remember correctly |
